Lentil Soup

Lentil soup ingredients

  • 1 cup of lentils
  • 1 cup of corn
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Crushed red chili pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of water

-Put stove on high and wait till the 2 cups of water is boiling

-Throw the cup of lentils in the boiling (big bubbles) water and add another cup of water

- Set your timer for 30 minutes and start it

-Stir the lentils every 5 minutes

-Drain the lentils and combine the cup of corn, cup of tomato sauce, chopped onion, and 1 tbsp of crushed chili pepper into the pan and let it simmer (smaller bubbles instead of bigger bubbles) on low heat for 20 minutes

- Set timer for 20 minutes and start it

- Stir every 5 minutes
